This is a position located in Brussels, Belgium.
- To update, maintain and expand the stakeholder mapping document, which includes key contacts from the European Parliament, Council of the European Union, other EU institutions as well as Member States' line ministries responsible for foreign affairs, development assistance and humanitarian assistance.
- In liaison with the Advocacy Team, the Communications Team and the frontdesk, the Partnerships Consultant will support the organisation and logistics of WFP external events organised in Brussels, as and when they are scheduled.
- Support the analytical work of WFP Brussels by following and debriefing on various EU events and hearings, such as European Parliament's committees meetings.
- Support WFP Brussels mission through collection of data and, under the supervision of the Advocacy Team Lead, preparation of policy and political analyses.
- The Partnership Consultant shall support the Advocacy Team Lead, as well as other team members, in ad hoc duties including, but not limited to – media monitoring of relevant developments, helping in scheduling of meetings, HQ requests, identifying upcoming events which may be relevant for WFP
