Job Summary:
The Procurement Engineer will manage the end-to-end supply chain for OCCE's construction projects. This includes leading a team of procurement specialists, overseeing the implementation and optimization of the company's ERP system, and ensuring timely delivery of all necessary materials, equipment, and services to support ongoing projects. The Procurement Engineer will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to drive efficiency and minimize project delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of procurement specialists, setting clear goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and processes to drive efficiency and optimization across the organization
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the company's ERP system to streamline procurement and supply chain management activities
- Manage supplier relationships, including qualification, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring
- Oversee inventory management, logistics, and distribution operations
- Collaborate with project teams to coordinate procurement activities and address supply chain issues
- Analyze data and develop reports to track procurement performance and identify improvement areas
- Recommend and implement technology-driven solutions to enhance procurement and supply chain processes
