We are seeking a friendly and reliable Restaurant Cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the restaurant and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
- Accurately process customer orders and payments using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
- Answer customer inquiries about menu items, pricing, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as answering phone calls and helping with takeout orders.
- Provide receipts and correct change to customers.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service.
