We are hiring Maintenance Technician - Private office

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair work. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment and systems are in proper working order. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to work independently will be crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions.
2. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and systems to ensure optimal functioning.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and system problems to identify the root cause and develop effective solutions.
4. Repair or replace faulty equipment and systems, such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical wiring, and lighting fixtures.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documentation of work performed and parts used.
6. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
8. Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
9. Assist with the procurement of necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.
10. Provide guidance and support to junior maintenance staff, as needed.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair work.
2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of various systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
8. Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work in a safe manner.
9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
10. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
