Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and control steel fabrication production schedules to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of fabricators, welders, machine operators, and supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in the fabrication of transformer tanks, enclosures, radiators, and other structural steel components.
- Monitor production KPIs such as output, efficiency, downtime, rework, and material utilization.
- Optimize resource allocation including manpower, machines, tools, and raw materials.
- Liaise with design, planning, procurement, and quality departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, and cost control using Lean or Six Sigma principles.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of fabrication equipment (shearing, CNC, plasma cutting, bending machines, welding equipment, etc.).
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to senior management.
