Working in a team environment in delivering sustainable and low-energy design
projects in the built environment. The role requires an understanding of engineering
design, construction, commissioning and operation of buildings.
• Perform energy system analysis of projects design to verify compliance with the sustainability criteria
• Carry out energy modelling, daylight simulations, etc. in line with the local authority green codes and international green building certifications such as LEED.
• Conduct project sustainability assessments such as LEED, Estidama, WELL, Trakhees, Sa’afat and any other relevant green building systems, together with the team assigned for the project.
• Interact with clients, contractors, local authority representatives and other
stakeholders during project execution, as may be assigned by the Sustainability Manager.
• Assist the Sustainability Manager in preparing project green strategies, presentations.
• Attend project site meetings and conduct site visits during construction to inspect and monitor implementation of green building requirement.
• Perform green material submittal reviews.
• Prepare site inspection reports, progress reports.
• Conduct client meetings during project execution.
• Perform independent commissioning authority related activities on site
• Conduct thermography surveys, air tightness testing, building envelop commissioning inspections.
• Research and develop innovative ideas for adding value to EMS services and solutions
• Job may involve travel outside the UAE for green building project execution.
• Support the EMS team during proposal preparation.
