Responsibilities:
- Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
- Overseeing the taxation affairs of the company and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
- Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the company is compliant with accounting standard
- Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems i.e. ERP
- Contribute to the company’s overall business objectives and guide on financial position
- To provide strategic financial insights to ensure that all business objectives are met
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedule
- Produce timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Presenting results to non-finance stakeholders
- Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury, payroll, financial and management accounting functions
- Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and control
