We currently have a vacancy for an accountant to join our team in Jeddah. The accountant will be responsible for managing all of the financial transaction of the company, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial statement and reports.
Responsibility
- Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including recording and documenting accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Monitoring inventory and stock movements
- Follow up with customers, suppliers and sales team.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring inflows and outflows, optimizing working capital, and ensuring adequate liquidity.
- Contribute to the preparation of product pricing for sales or purchases.
- Improving the efficiency and cost of operations: Analyzing expenditures to improve spending efficiency, making recommendations for improvement and implementing them.
- Monitor and analyze actual performance against budgeted targets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Preparing and reviewing Tax returns as per the laws of Saudi Arabia.
- Monitor tax liabilities and ensures the payment of the same on a timely basis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the completion of annual audits.
- Responding to the queries of the different government bodies in case any assistance is needed
- Data entry into the accounting program
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices, and streamlining accounting processes.
- Assist with any other tasks as required
