Engineer - Core Network Ops is responsible for troubleshooting/ resolution of issues passed to the Second Level Operation (SLO) and to manage activities of the roaming services. He shall support smooth operations and shall ensure roaming service availability. He should also ensure services availability as per agree SLA. Support new project/ services acceptance and rollout. This job requires 24X 7 availability.
Key Accountabilities
·24x7 availability and to handle the escalations as and when required. Coordination with the Roaming partners for Trouble Ticket resolution.
·Able to generate Audit, health, capacity Reports
·Perform IREG tasks including testing, new partner launch, Ir21 documents updates
· Acceptance Testing and New Feature Implementation
·Configuration Changes in CS and PS core nodes (MSS/UGW/HLR/STP, DEA)
·Trouble Ticket resolution with in SLA
·Operations and maintenance of MSS/UGW/HLR/STP, DEA
·Able to read, understand and analyses to the call flow and Telecom Protocol traces
·Have strong communication ability with customer and handle VIP care cases.
·Understanding Operation of Multivendor Core Environment.
·Core Optimization and performance evaluation based on defined targets.
·Have good in-depth knowledge of Roamware Servers.
·Responsible for SME IREG, Trouble Ticket, Change Request and Acceptance Testing.
·Knowledge about the following desired
·Raomware server.
·SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, SCCP, MAP, CAP, TCP/IP, Diameter
·International Call Setup and SMS Call flow.
·Mobility management and roaming call flow.
