Job Title: Purchasing Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of importation.
- Strong planning and analytical skills.
- Leadership and managerial skills.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software.
- Proficiency in using MS Office programs.
- Excellent report preparation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop the purchasing department, set purchasing plans, policies, and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Develop purchasing strategies.
- Issue purchase orders.
- Review departmental purchase requests and approve them.
- Seek the best purchasing opportunities with suitable prices and quality.
- Monitor inventory and branch requirements.
- Research and build relationships with new suppliers.
- Price and code items.
- Analyze and study items.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets.
- Collaborate with warehouse management regarding inventory shortages, storage capacity, and inventory turnover.Monitor periodic changes in raw material prices.
- Monitor periodic changes in raw material prices.
- Provide an annual purchasing plan.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for the purchasing department.
