What we need:
Vibration Analyst: plays critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of wind turbines by monitoring, analysing, and diagnosing vibrations from various mechanical components. Your expertise will contribute to the early detection of potential issues, enhancing turbine efficiency and minimizing downtime. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, vibration analysis, and an understanding of wind turbine systems.
Vibration Monitoring & Analysis
-Perform regular vibration monitoring and analysis of wind turbine components, including gearboxes, generators, shafts, bearings, and rotor blades.
-Use advanced vibration analysis tools and software (e.g., FFT analysers, online condition monitoring systems) to assess the condition of mechanical systems.
-Identify patterns, trends, and potential issues in vibration data to predict failures and recommend corrective actions.
Data Interpretation & Reporting:
-Analyse vibration data and provide clear, actionable reports for maintenance teams, engineers, and management.
-Investigate abnormal vibration patterns and collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions.
-Provide diagnostic support during turbine commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Condition Monitoring System Management:
-Maintain and calibrate vibration monitoring equipment and sensors.
-Ensure that real-time condition monitoring systems are functioning properly and accurately reflect the operational status of turbines.
-Conduct routine inspections and audits of vibration sensors and other critical measurement instruments.
Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting:
-Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of vibration-related issues, utilizing diagnostic techniques such as modal analysis, frequency analysis, and time-domain analysis.
-Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions to resolve issues related to abnormal vibration levels.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
-Work closely with maintenance teams to develop and implement predictive maintenance schedules based on vibration data.
-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize turbine performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
-Provide training to technicians and engineers on vibration monitoring and analysis techniques.
