- Prepare electrical and technical drawings, including wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, circuit schematics, and panel designs.
- Create preliminary sketches and produce detailed electrical designs and schematics.
- Develop multiple design versions for review by electrical engineers.
- Incorporate details into electrical plans using knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and installation techniques.
- Calculate the quantity and quality of materials, estimate material and labor costs, and determine project timelines.
- Assist in preparing technical specifications for electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Represent and assist engineers on-site to ensure that plans and specifications are correctly followed.
- Work under the supervision of electrical engineers or project managers.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure that electrical designs align with project requirements and industry regulations.
