A reputable company in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional certification such as ACCA or CMA is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
- Proficient in using financial software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
