We are hiring Cost Control Section Head - Logistics Transportation - Almajdouie Holding


  • - Analyse, Monitor & control All Cost elements (like maintenance, Fuel, Trip Bonus etc.)  in Transportation Operations to ensure that it is streamlined as per policy, with best visibility and as per best cost control practices.

  • -  Monitor, Control and Optimize Fleet Maintenance planning and Billing functions to ensure that maintenance cost is optimized.

  • - Collaborate with Control tower to better monitor the fuel consumption.

  • Review and escalate high-value or suspicious transactions

  • Check the fuel transactions of each vehicle as per the different refueling system in place.

  • Analyze the repetitive Maintenance orders and Negotiate service agreements with Internal or external service providers to ensure cost efficiencies.

  • Manage SLAs by being responsible for solicitation, performance evaluation and selection of Service Providers while ensuring compliance with the procedures and policies

  • Responsible for establishing and implementing a Maintenance quality assurance and quality control program.

  • Review & Verify all Maintenance invoices to ensure that maintenance job orders and contracts for completeness and consistency ensuring accuracy and lead time expectations

  • Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine maintenance strategies based on asset performance.

  • Conduct lifecycle costing analyses on new, problematic, and aging assets.

  • Benchmark the Market Maintenance cost, Analyze and compare LSC maintenance costs and provide recommendations to esnure control and optimize the Maintenance spending

  • Collect, Review and process invoices, conduct payment follow up, Estimate timely trip bonuses to ensure that all payments are made fairly, on time and as per approved policies.


  • Develop fuel & Trip Bonus management Processes and ensure that all fuel transactions are through the system to ensure better control and optimization.

  • Develop fuel & Trip Bonus management policy & procedures and Supervise the Employees to ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures.

  • Digitalize the whole process to ensure that all transactions are done through the system to get clear overall cost picture.


  • Conduct research & Benchmarking studies and Identifies, evaluates and uses appropriate information sources to develop analysis reports direct by the Management.

  • Provide technical advice to the all employees related to areas of expertise and collaborate with other functions to diagnose the root causes to ensure implementing correct solutions.

  • Continuously seek out and identify opportunities for Self-Development to ensure having up to-date knowledge about the function and Sector.

  • Draft reports on the use of the fuel, the average consumption per vehicle and make comparison of the figures at LTR Level.

  • Follows procedures of reporting on performance and other reports required from time to time to the Direct Manager
