Analyze and verify the quality of bathymetric data in Caris bathymetric database (BDB).
· Perform Quality Control (QC) on bathymetric data against IHO standards and SA standards
· Edit and process bathymetric data.
· Manage and upload the bathymetric data into Bathymetric Database Manager (BDB) and add the meta data to the attributes.
· Caris Bathy database (BDB) maintenance.
· Edit offshore cartographic database in CARIS HPD.
· Knowledge in cartographic projects.
· Compilation of Navigational Charts as per IHO standard.
· Compilation and drafting of engineering charts.
· Provide Quality Control and final edition over offshore cartographic products intended to be used for safety operations.
· Generate and validate Electronic Navigation Charts (ENC)
· Commit approved charts into the Library for Product Generation.
· Check and validate the data to generate Notice to Mariners.
· Maintain offshore database affected by Notice to Mariners to keep it up to date in all layers and different scale.
- · To have Knowledge in coordinates system transformation and datum.
