Description
Developing Budgets:
Work with department heads and executives to develop annual operating budgets.Forecast revenue and expenses based on historical data, market trends, and business goals.
Monitoring Financial Performance:
Track actual financial performance against budgeted targets.Analyse variances and identify areas of concern or improvement.
Budgeting Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve the budgeting process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Implement best practices and tools to streamline budgeting and forecasting activities.
Cost Control and Optimisation:
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Analyse spending patterns and recommend adjustments to achieve financial objectives.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Assist in long-term financial planning and strategic decision-making.Conduct financial analysis to support business initiatives and investments.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate budgetary goals, targets, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with department heads and senior management to ensure alignment of budgets with organisational priorities.
Training and Development:
Provide training and support to staff involved in budgeting and financial management.Share best practices and educate stakeholders on budgeting processes and financial principle
Profile
7+ years of finance and accounting experience 4+ years specifically in a budgeting role Real estate experience is a plus
