- Provide prescribed medications, and other pharmaceuticals, compound medications according to professional standards and practices.
- Advise/consult with patients, families, medical and nursing staff.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
- Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacists.
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
