Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses in our systems and networks.
- Implement and maintain security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data encryption.
- Monitor security logs and alerts for suspicious activity and investigate potential security incidents.
- Respond to security incidents promptly and effectively to minimize damage and restore normal operations.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures, and provide security awareness training to employees.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and trends, and adapt security measures accordingly.
- Collaborate with other IT staff, business units, and external vendors to assess and manage cyber risks.
- Document security activities and maintain accurate records.
