About The Job
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, develop data models, and create insightful reports and dashboards that empower the organization to make strategic decisions.
Job Purpose
The primary responsibility is to create develop analytical insights that represent large, complex sets of data through visual representation using Tableau, Power BI and Azure Cloud Data Platforms.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Design and implement data models to support business reporting needs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business processes.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Ensure data visualizations align with business objectives and user needs.
• Integrate data from various sources to create comprehensive BI solutions.
• Work with data warehouse architects, data scientists, and data engineers. Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed.
• Optimize SQL queries and data processing for improved performance.
• Implement best practices for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Provide training to end-users on utilizing BI tools and reports effectively.
• Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for BI-related queries.
• Evangelize data knowledge and insights by managing communications with stakeholders and other teams, collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues to complete data projects and ensure all parties can use the insights to further improve.
• Design and build dashboards and self-service tools in Tableau for internal business teams and client facing solutions.
• Develop processes and documentation for building with data visualization tools.
• Conduct training's on data concepts and specific tools.
• Develop prototypes using interactive graphics, data visualization, data mining and data analysis modules
• Ensure color theory, pattern recognition and human visual perception incorporated into deliverables.
• Data processing, analysis, and data modeling
• Adhere to visual User Experience, user Interface and scientific visualization methodologies
• Develop Data wrangling from REST APIs components for scraping, cleaning data and integration.
• Develop automated analysis experience using high-level programming language such as Python, C#
• The ability to work independently and set your own priorities with careful attention to detail and deadlines
• Very strong SQL writing skills in Data Warehouses.
• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure for cloud-based analysis.
