Job Description:
An optometrist is a healthcare professional who specializes in examining the eyes for visual defects and prescribing corrective lenses or other appropriate treatments
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Examine eyes, using observation, and instruments to determine visual acuity and perception
- Conduct vision testing on clinic patients
- Prescribe and fit vision aids such as contact lenses and eyeglasses
- Analyze test results and develop a treatment plan
- Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene, and safety factors.
- Maintain the clinic instruments.
- Support staff to optimize quality clinical care and service.
- Contact lenses fitting.
- Contributes to sales activity.
