Job Description:
Your job will be to develop, manage, and enhance deployment infrastructure to ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and reliable. Build and improve tools and automation to efficiently utilize infrastructure
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the security of infrastructure by following best practices, benchmarks and server hardening
• Help with designing and deploying a scalable infrastructure for a high-traffic environment.
• Automate the deployment, administration, and operation of Pop’s infrastructure so no manual intervention is needed.
• Design and build tools to improve deployment efficiency and gain visibility into production systems.
• Translate development team use cases into infrastructure requirements.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our services, infrastructure and delivery processes.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple development teams.
• Respond to incidents and support the engineering team with its product incident response strategy \[on call\]
• Lead postmortems and root cause analysis to help us continuously improve.
