We are hiring for the role of Country Manager- Sales, for our client based in the UAE which is a listed leading Indian CPG player with a turnover of ~600 million USD and a market leader in its product range.
Specific Requirements:
- Sales and Revenue Orientation
- Analytical skills and data crunching
- Experience of handling Modern Trade accounts like Costco/Woolworths/Coles/Met Cash etc.
- In depth understanding and experience of handling Australian Ethnic Trade
- Good understanding of Geography mainly Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane
- Experience of working in FMCG/Food & Beverages Industry is must
- Experience of managing multiple distributor’s with high volumes
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
- Responsible for primary and secondary Sales Target achievement in assigned countries specifically into FMCG/CPG industry.
- Plan rolling forecast, ensure Distributors sales target commitment as per Budget
- Review distributor performance in billing efficiency, new account opening, maintaining existing account
- Appointment of Distributors in unrepresented Areas/country
- Design and implement business plans that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Responsible for generating orders and Follow up for timely payments by distributors
Brand Management & Product Portfolio –
- Responsible for the brand growth, Distributor operational excellence and strategies to drive sales
- Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of aggressive and innovative sales promotions for distributors and customers with a view to ensure adequate penetration, market share, product positioning, growth, and performance
- Periodic Market visits. Conducting competitor and market analysis, planning product mix to meet the market demands and revenue targets
- Core product sales versus ancillary products sales
- Merchandising and availability guideline implementation
- Competition review and benchmarking
- Handling of product complaint
Distributor Management –
- Plan rolling forecast
- Maintain ROI of distributors including settlement of claims and payment
- Organizing periodic meetings with distributors & training distributor sales staff, discussing current market issues and devising solutions for enhanced operations
- Helping distributors to overcome any issues faced in the market their by boosting their moral and interest in the business
- Stock replenishment & inventory management of Distributor
